Moses was blessed to be in that house but he knew he had a higher calling.
He could have chosen to follow the gods of the Egyptians but he rejected that idea.
Sin looks very good at the time but it is poison to the soul. When a person craves into sin then that weakens the person's life.
Moses heard the voice of the Lord and he followed the voice. I like Moses because he is just like me.
He wanted to serve the Lord but he messed up.
The Lord didn't give up on Moses but he kept on drawing Moses to his side.
We might have times of wandering but the Lord will bring back his people. Moses got back on the horse and he knew the Lord.
We need to reject the sin that seems so pleasurable and follow the Lord's way.
Sin is fun for a second then it kills. But the Lord'w way is forever and blessed is a person that keeps him.
We think that this earth is all there is, but we will leave this planet soon. We either go up or down.
When we face the Lord, someday, then we will be thankful to know him and obey him.
Hebrews 11:24-28
24 By faith Moses, when he had grown up, refused to be known as the son of Pharaoh’s daughter. 25 He chose to be mistreated along with the people of God rather than to enjoy the fleeting pleasures of sin. 26 He regarded disgrace for the sake of Christ as of greater value than the treasures of Egypt, because he was looking ahead to his reward. 27 By faith he left Egypt, not fearing the king’s anger; he persevered because he saw him who is invisible. 28 By faith he kept the Passover and the application of blood, so that the destroyer of the firstborn would not touch the firstborn of Israel.
