The Chosen One

When a person reads the Hebrew Scriptures in the sections of Pentateuch, where the high priests receive a special honor. The title of a high priest was meant “the anointed priest.”
When we look at the "title of the Christ" are reunited the two testimonies of which follows.
He is the Anointed King. Psalm 2:7 says, "I will proclaim the Lord’s decree:
He said to me, “You are my son; today I have become your father.
 The Messiah is address by God as His Son. Hebrews 1:2 says, "
 but in these last days he has spoken to us by his Son, whom he appointed heir of all things, and through whom also he made the universe." Hebrews 1:4-5 says, "So he became as much superior to the angels as the name he has inherited is superior to theirs.  For to which of the angels did God ever say, 'You are my Son; today I have become your Father'? Or again, 'I will be his Father, and he will be my Son?"
The same God He addressed as a Priest forever  after the order of one who was both priest and king.
Psalm 110:4 says, " The Lord has sworn and will not change his mind:
“You are a priest forever, in the order of Melchizedek.”
We need to read Hebrews 1:13, "  To which of the angels did God ever say, “Sit at my right hand
 until I make your enemies a footstool for your feet?"
 The king of Israel was the type of the Son of David; and in the consecrated people, who, had they been faithful, would have remained the representatives of all nations before God, was dimly foreshadowed the Anointed Priest.

Hebrews 5:5-6

In the same way, Christ did not take on himself the glory of becoming a high priest. But God said to him,
“You are my Son;
    today I have become your Father.”
And he says in another place,
“You are a priest forever,
    in the order of Melchizedek.”
